Job Description

Managing the operation

  • Managing and overseeing the organization’s entire finance and administration matters.
  • Lead transformational change to support delivery of the roadmap drawn up by the Board of Trustees.
  • Continually enhance the processes in place for resource allocation and performance monitoring at all levels of the organization. dentifying and responding to long-term strategic risks, challenges and opportunities.
  • To direct the organization’s annual budget setting and longer term strategic financial planning, with a robust analysis and justification of intended expenditure, financial forecasts, cashflow etc
  • To ensure budget holders/managers receive up to date timely and accurate management accounts and information in order to maintain day to day control of the expenditure budget.
  • Contributing (relevant, valuable) comment and opinions pro-actively.
  • Monitoring of the team and the processes.
  • Lead and manage the progress of the operation.

 

Finance Function

  • Developing budgets for business plans and donor grants
  • Tracking of grant expenditures, and related reporting to donors
  • Liaising with external international-grade auditors, to ensure yearly are prepared on time.
  • Ensuring full compliance with Procurement policy and develop/update procurement SOP.
  • Compliance: Understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations and recommending new procedures
  • Implementing the best structure, team and policies and procedures required in the Finance and Admin Department.
  • Managing the organization’s accounting function with a view to ensure compliance with all local and international accounting standard.

 

Admin Function

  • Co-operating with HR for monthly payroll
  • Provide proactive assessment of opportunities to deliver efficiencies in collaboration with various departments.
  • Co-ordinating, motivating and building a team that can thrive in the challenging environment.

 

Job Requirement

• University degree in Commerce/ Accounting Major, preferably a fully qualified CPA or ACCA.

• At Least 7 ~ 10 years of experience in managerial position.

• Experience within a non-profit/ NGO/ Funded organization is preferable.

• Experience in managing the whole finance and admin operations would be an asset.

• Managing stakeholder’s expectation in the good communication and interpersonal skill is a must.

• Fluency in oral and written English is required.
